Purification and Characterisation of Soybean Agglutinin Protein from Soybean seeds

I joined Dr. Gupta's lab in my 7th semester of Bachelor's study to pursue a short project in the field of Glycobiology and Protein purification. On joining his lab, I was exposed to a different world of proteins, and I was fortunate to learn several analytical techniques such as Chromatography and its different variants, SDS-PAGE, Gel elctrophoresis, and related techniques which are frequently used in molecular biology.

I worked in his lab for 4 months. It was a really enriching experience to gain hands-on training with state-of-the-art equipment and learn from some really enthusiastic and hard-working people in his group.
